Emirates Airline is an airline based in Dubai. Operating since 1985 with just two aircrafts, it is now the world’s fourth-largest airline. Its primary hub is at the Dubai International Airport. The airline has an extensive network covering 141 destinations across 75 countries in six continents. Emirates Airline has the largest fleet of Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s in the world.

Emirates Airlines has three main classes of travel: First Class, Business Class and Economy Class. The airline offers a range of in-flight and on-ground services. In-flight services comprises of award winning ICE (Information, Communication, Entertainment) system and a range of meal options including specially designed ones for healthy options and kid-friendly meals.
The Emirates Official Store and Emirates High Street are the shopping options offered, along with the on-board duty free collection. Frequent flyer program known as Skywards is also offered that enables flyers to earn miles in order to enjoy exclusive benefits.

Flight Connectivity and Fleet

Emirates Airline is well connected to major cities like Abuja, New York, London, Dubai, Lagos, Johannesburg, Sydney, Tokyo, Nairobi, Accra, Mumbai and Abu Dhabi. They have a fleet of over 200 aircrafts which consist mainly of Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s.

Baggage and Additional Services

Emirates Airline has the following free baggage allowance for checked baggage:
  • First Class: 50 kgs maximum
  • Business Class: 40 kgs maximum
  • Economy Class: 30 kgs maximum
Hand baggage allowed has the following weight restrictions:
  • First Class: 2 pieces of 7 kgs each
  • Business Class: 2 pieces of 7 kgs each
  • Economy Class: 1 bag of 7 kgs
All baggage must not exceed the set permissible dimensions.
Online check-in is available with Emirates Airline between 48 hours to 90 minutes prior to departure.
